Before you book
Good paint decisions start here.
What affects paint correction cost?
Vehicle size, paint condition and the number of polishing stages needed determine the right package. Fine wash marks may suit one stage, while more noticeable defects may need separate cutting and refining. Compare the vehicle prices above, then let us inspect the paint and confirm the work. Optional coating upgrades are priced separately, and all listed prices are before 13% HST.
Is car buffing the same as paint correction?
Car buffing is a common term for polishing. Paint correction describes the process of assessing and machine-polishing the finish to improve swirls, haze and light defects. The right approach depends on the paint, so a request for a quick buff may call for a single stage or more careful multi-stage work. We inspect the finish before recommending a package.
Can car buffing remove every scratch?
No. Polishing can improve swirl marks, haze, oxidation, some water-spot etching and many light scratches. The result depends on defect depth, paint thickness and clear-coat condition. Deep scratches, stone chips and damage through the paint may need paintwork instead. We will explain what is safe to improve.
Do I need correction before ceramic coating?
A coating does not hide scratches or repair paint. Correcting first creates the finish that the coating will protect. New vehicles may only need light preparation, while used paint may benefit from one or more polishing stages. Learn about ceramic coating.
How long will you need my vehicle?
The 30-minute appointment shown in Square is a vehicle drop-off window, not a completion time. Correction and coating can require an overnight stay, and Showroom Correction usually takes 2 to 3 days. We confirm the estimated completion time before accepting your request.
What is the ceramic coating warranty?
The coating is warrantied for the period stated in your selected package. Coverage requires that coated surfaces have not been repainted, repolished or stripped and have not been subject to excessive abuse. Ask us to confirm the coverage and care requirements for your chosen coating before booking.
Can I request correction without a coating?
Yes, request an assessment for correction-only pricing. The online packages shown here include a 3-year coating; the included coating is not the same as the optional $40 ceramic spray offered with detailing.
How do I keep the finish looking good?
Use careful washing and suitable maintenance products. Abrasive washing can reintroduce swirls. Ceramic coating can make cleaning easier, but it is not scratch-proof and does not prevent rock chips. Explore paint protection film if physical impact protection is your priority.
